Been reloading since the early 80s. I load 30 or so different calibers, and 12 gauge shotgun. I rarely fire a factory round any more.

I don't have an EDC. I have an EDC rotation between several guns. Yep...I am proficient with all of them. They include 1911s in 10mm, 9mm, 45 ACP and SIG 357, a Ruger LC9, S&W 442, S&W 624, Colt Python (2020 version) and a host of others.

I have this gun. Awesome, great feeling, great shooting gun. I did delete the FLGR and go with a standard recoil spring guide and plug.

I've had a 700 VTR in .308 Winchester for about 15 years. I've had 700s since 1978. The older ones are awesome. Can't speak to current ones.

I know my limitations. I carry with a security holster, even concealed. I'm not going to make a 1 second draw or hit, but 2 to 2.5 seconds is doable. My most carried guns are full size 1911s.

I work part time in a small gun shop. We've had two in stock so far...they both sold before they reached the store.

I have a 3" EMP in 9mm. Very easy to carry, very reliable. Came from the factory with a front sight that was way too tall, causing me to shoot low with it consistently. I replaced the front sight with a lower Dawson fiber optic. It doesn't shoot the greatest groups, but I still like it a lot.

If I can't hit a 4" target at 50 feet with a gun, it don't qualify as EDC with me. I can do that with my 1911s, including my 10mm TRP.

Hammer fired for me. Striker fired triggers seem mushy and inconsistent.

I've had mine almost a year. Love it. Super accurate. 5" gun.
