Thanks for sharing your story. Your training certainly helped but as you noted, it’s hard to know exactly how you’ll react in the moment when your mind is racing. It certainly heightens my situational awareness and has me considering a dash cam.

It gets a little heavy but I like my carry gin (Bombay Sapphire) double stack(ed). Can never have too much “ammo”.

Logic would suggest the mags would be compatible but just noticed the 15 rd mags are different for the 4.0C and 4.5F on the Smithfield Armory accessory page. Looks like an intentional money grab. Make a slight change and sell more mags. Thats a bummer since I have a 4.5F and plan to get a 4.0C.

Is the Central Operating Group (COG) in my Echelon 4.5F compatible with new Echelon 4.0 c frame, slide and 4” barrel? Anyone know if the mags are compatible?

I have 1,000 rounds through mine without a single glitch. If you add the extended base plate to the 17 round mag just follow the directions and you’re fine.

Very nice! Did you get it from SA and if so, is it the standard or aggressive grip texture? Haven’t seen any comments yet on the aggressive grip texture. It’d be nice to spend a day shooting with every combination of frame/backstrap size and grip texture to dial in my preference.
