For me, the object of a beard is so that I don't have to shave. When I get a haircut (about once a month) I get my beard trimmed just long enough that it is still soft to the touch. You see, it's not a beard, it's thigh ticklers.

I didn't shave today, probably won't tomorrow either. Last shaved about 25 years ago for a Halloween party where I was Elvis.
