Charter Arms Professional .32 H&R Magnum

Most likely because the cylinder isn't long enough. Older S&W .32 longs can be reamed to .32 H&R, but are too short for the .327.

What your CCW says about you

The guys trying to be funny. Not succeeding very well, but he is trying. Don't take it too seriously.

Charter Arms Professional .32 H&R Magnum

.32 is a good choice for people with arthritis or hand issues. My wife used a S&W Model 30 in .32 Long and was very happy with it.

    Do you still trust SIG?

While I'm primarily a 1911 or revolver kinda guy, my choice for DA/SA pistols is Sig. Huge fan of the classic P2XX series of all metal guns. I have 6 of those and have carried some of them from time to time. Don't give a crap for anything plastic no matter who makes it.

    WHY A REVOLVER?

Why a revolver? Because I like 'em. 😁

    is weight of any importance

I'm fond of alloy framed guns, but not totally committed to them. My primary carry for many years was a Colt Lightweight Commander in .45. If I go DA/SA, I'm fond of all metal Sigs with their alloy frames. However, I have carried full size all steel 1911s or Hi-Powers. Along with a variety of...

Man killed at Salt Lake "No Kings" protest.

I'm of mixed feelings here and have lots of questions. On the one hand, they may have prevented a mass shooting. A very good thing which probably outweighs other concerns. On the other hand, why did "peaceful" protesters feel the need for armed security? Were they legal? Did LE know they were...

Man killed at Salt Lake "No Kings" protest.

https://www.deseret.com/utah/2025/06/15/salt-lake-protest-shooting-man-dies/ Short version: Protest "Peacekeepers" saw a man getting out an AR style rifle. They fired at him. Bystander shot and died. Thoughts/comments?

Is this real, or more snake oil? Making gas out of air.

Total BS. There have been all kinds of gimmicks that supposedly increase fuel mileage or do away with the use of ICEs for many years. None of them worked. Its just another scam. 🤬

    Daffy Zone…..

I'll never understand why people allow themselves to be influenced by so-called celebrities. Actors, singers, athletes, whatever. They're famous because they're very good at something. And they do deserve recognition for that one thing they're good at. But outside of that one particular...

now if others would be made like this 1

Nice looking rifle. Easy is always better. (y) The new Winchester Ranger .22 lever gun uses a similar system, except you take out a screw. But I haven't seen one as of yet.

Will modern firearms work with blackpowder?

I admit that once in a rare while this question has crossed my mind. But I was never crazy enough to even consider trying it. Of course Scott is crazy enough to try anything. So, now we know.

    They killed a lawmaker

The current state of politics in this country has reached the boiling point. The wackos are teetering on the edge and wanting to go over. I fear things will get much worse.

From the Welders Workshop a 1911 smoker.

I've seen many 1911s smoke. But never seen one smoke a brisket 😁

The mayflys are coming the mayflies

Locusts are what most people around here refer to as grasshoppers. Make good fish bait. ;) But in large swarms, they can devastate fields and forests by stripping and eating the leaves. Thus the term a "plague" of locusts.

Marines Award $95 Million Contract for Polymer-Cased .50 Caliber Ammo

I surprised that someone could come up with a poly case that'll contain that beast. Having humped more than a few cans of .50 BMG in my time, at a savings of 7 lbs to an ammo can and nearly 100 more rounds to a 100 lb batch, I can support it. (y)
