Back when I was still working, I considered learning Spanish purely as a self defense measure. Never did and now I ain't gonna.

I'm all for it. There was a time not too long ago when immigrants tried hard to learn English and blend in with every day America. Now there are many who not only don't want to learn English, but want to follow the ways of their native country. If you want to be in America, learn to be an American.

I used to work with a guy who had been happily married to his one and only wife for 20+ years. But every time they met new people he'd introduce her as "This is my first wife, Jane." He thought it was funny. Her, not so much. :rolleyes:
