The DPP is a great optic. I have one on my Staccato C2 as well as my Prodigy.

Yeah Springfield kind of gives with one hand and takes away with the other with the optic plate that comes with the Prodigy. I expect 90% of Prodigy owners pony up for a more useful plate.

Does it lock back if you shoot it one handed? Is it possible you are riding the slide lock?
