BINGO!! You'd be surprised how many folks who have shot revolvers, then you hand them a semi automatic they think just throwing the mag in means it's loaded. That goofy look when nothing happens is priceless.

Yes, as far as I know they are still building both series. I once handled a nice bobtailed Kimber and another nice model both were series 80. I walked away disappointed. The Rapide series .45 and 10mm's I've shot or owned have been well worth the money.

Wrong! All the Kimber Rapide are series 70 design.

Before I ever use a new firearm or a used firearm I've bought AND after any shooting session. Whether it's 5 shots or 500 I keep a good clean and lubricated firearm.

I have never used any blue loctite on my Holosun 508t. I have it on a XDM-Elite 3.8" 10mm. Not once have my screws loosen or broke. Yes loctite on screws acts as a lubricant and your torque specs will be more than they should be. More than one optic manufacturer has stated their torque specs...
