Unfortunately when one lives in a colder climate, indoor ranges are the way to go. We just have to remember the lead thing and monitor ourselves accordingly.

I got everything done in town that I wanted to do. I shot three out of the four guns I brought to the range and I did okay, but nothing to write home to mom about (or you guys, for that matter 😒). I was pretty pathetic with the Echelon, which bummed me out, but it's my issue with the optic...

It was a little sweeter than I had anticipated, but very flavorful. Doesn't need ice to mellow it or enhance it, IMHO.

Second cup done. Had a light breakfast so I can tolerate pain meds. My left arm is killing me but that should take the edge off before I get to the range. I have four of my little friends all packed up to go, but I may just shoot two today and two tomorrow. Depends on how the arm responds to...

Okay, work sucked today so I’m kicking back with a little bit of this. Just a little, mind you, cuz I’m going to the range tomorrow with a few of my little friends 😊😎.

So, I had a not so great return to work today, but I handled it like a boss. 😎 Well, I’m not the boss and I’m off for three days so I’ll celebrate that with a wee dram of this stuff we picked up at the Exchange at Nellis. The double oaked intrigued me.

Yep, I got me a few of them and I do like 'em lots. 😊 In fact, those little beasties need a little exercise. Might have to tote them along tomorrow :cool:.

If...and I mean if I was to procure one, it would likely be a 9mm and it would have a 4 inch barrel, 4.5 max. Probably just for the range, but possible carry if I can conceal it without too much trouble. Sorry for not being clear.

Getting ready to hit the sheets. Takes me a while to fall asleep and it helps to be horizontal. Only one "get up" and it's my weekend.

Before I go to bed, I want to thank you guys for all your responses. I’m learning a lot, which I love to do. Not sure I want or need to go down that rabbit hole yet, but if anything, I may invest in one just to learn from it.
