    Different

For a carry gun, I want it as small and concealable as I can get it while still being something I can conceal, wear comfortably, and shoot accurately. Buying a small ultracompact and then adding bulk/mass to ME seems counterintuitive. Ymmv

    Go get that firearm! (AZ)

I think it’s irresponsible to expect the local LEO’s to be on scene in time to stop/prevent crime. A handful of individuals cannot possibly be everywhere exactly when needed. Hence the need to take responsibility for your own safety. I live in the country. At night there is a better...

    Deciding on new EDC

Second this. Similar size/look to a 365, BUT is a single action concealed hammer pistol. Mine has the ambi safety so it’s easy to carry and about as “safe” as a firearm is going to be. Very nice trigger for a plastic gun, quite accurate as well.

Japanese Last-Ditch Small Arms Of World War II

I wrote a paper on this in college years ago entitled “The Humane Use of the Atomic Bomb in the Second World War”, key points being fighting to a conventional conclusion would have cost millions of lives, whereas the bomb merely killed a couple hundred thousand…

    calling all financial wizards

What’s the old saying “a boat is a hole in the water you fill with money😏”. Seriously though, be VERY wary of anything without a clear title upfront, else wise you may wind up holding the bag with a boat you can’t use and you can’t sell. Buyer beware.

Gun Review: Ruger American Ranch Rifle

I never fooled with anything heavier than a varmint round back when I lived in Illinois decades ago-couldn’t hunt with the heavier calibers (well, I guess you could shoot whistle pigs and ‘totes with a heavy caliber if you chose to)

    Holster for edc

Try a muddy river tactical orb. Leather, fits well and comfortable. And not expensive. Good folks to do business with. The only iwb I can wear (comfortably) is an Alien gear with the pad between the gun and you.

In a World of Compacts, Is it Bad my EDC is a Full Size?

Remember a lot of folk will buy a little gun then load it up with everything they can find that’ll bolt on and wind up with a bigger/heavier package than a standard service gun anyway😏

    Tisas 1911A1… It’s 1926 All Over Again

You do have to admire the genius of JMB. How many other 100+ year old consumer products in a basically original form are still being produced and used, effectively, today? Let’s see, there’s a ma deuce (JMB), a few lever guns (several JMB), and a Colt SAA. That’s about it that come to mind

    Dang that's a long time

Unreal. Can’t believe it’s good for you though…😏. ‘Course a shot or two of pure O2 does go long long wat toward clearing a hangover (or so I’ve been told🙄)
