    Saint victor 556 rifle

Something like this will probably work. I’m thinking of using this or getting a thread converter and getting a suppressor that I can use on my .300 BLK as well as my 5.56. This barrel extension should extend the barrel out to where you can put a suppressor on without changing the handguard. It...

Rittenhouse not guilty on all counts.

If I see my neighbor’s car being broken into, I have a right to try to stop a crime in progress. If as a result of that, the criminal attacks me and tries to injure or kill me, I have a right to defend myself. No different than what happened in Kenosha.

Rittenhouse not guilty on all counts.

And Rittenhouse still thought he was being attacked and his life threatened, even if their motives were thinking they were stopping an active shooter. And Rittenhouse was running TOWARDS the police when they were attacking him. I don’t think it’s reasonable for Rittenhouse to have dropped his...

Rittenhouse not guilty on all counts.

No, the people who died were the aggressors. Rittenhouse started and ended the night defending people, property and himself. An angry mob damaging property and stealing from innocent store owners put themselves in the position for armed civilians to interact with them. Especially when the police...

Rittenhouse not guilty on all counts.

Funny you mention that. I just read that under Wisconsin law, a 17 year old can openly carry a long gun, but is prohibited from carrying a pistol. Rittenhouse testified that if he were allowed to carry a pistol, that’s what he would have brought.

Rittenhouse not guilty on all counts.

Yep. Apparently, Wisconsin has 500 National Guard troops there to quell any riots. Perhaps if they had done this for the first set of riots, no one would ever have heard of Kyle Rittenhouse.

Rittenhouse not guilty on all counts.

Man, that is one distorted view of what happened. I understand their grief over losing a son, but this is a bunch of BS.

How Life Can Change, A Very Good Thing

Congratulations!! I just became a grandpa for the first time about 2 months ago. It really is a joy and not as bad as I was anticipating. Lol. I’m loving it!! Hope you are as well. I won’t hijack your thread with my own picture, but it’s pretty cool thinking about the next generations coming up.

    ATF "AR Pistol Spec Changes"?

I’m not aware that the ATF has made any rules changes yet. I think this is a preemptive move by SA. And I’m not sure why the Evac and PDW would be any different than the 5.56 pistol. What does SA think is different with the 5.56 pistol that won’t make it fall under the same guidelines as the...

    Concealed vs. Open

I told this story earlier in the thread and it is anecdotal, but I am in the ATM business and carry open when in high risk areas putting cash in ATMs. I know for a fact that my open carry in those situations has deterred a robbery. A patron of one of the establishment told me that robbery was...

What Rifle Should I Buy? Choosing the Best for Your Purposes

I have one. Love it. Personally, I think it’s the best all around rifle cartridge. Shot plenty of deer close up and it has a nice flat trajectory for long kills.

At least he manned up and took his medicine. He knew he’d receive consequences for speaking up. Snowden ran and gave top secret information to a foreign adversary. These two are light years apart. I’m not saying Snowden’s criticisms aren’t accurate. And I’m not saying he’s not a smart...

Scheller did not share confidential/secret information. He merely asked for accountability and criticized the top brass. AND he hung around and dealt with the consequences. He didn’t run to a communist country to avoid paying the piper for what he did.

I haven’t read Snowden’s sub stack. And there is certainly much to be concerned about with our government. But there is a right and wrong way to go about it. Snowden picked the wrong way. I’m not big at all on him…

    Concealed vs. Open

99% of the time I carry concealed. I work in the ATM business and part of what I do is deliver cash to ATMs. Not so much anymore, but a few years ago, I had to deliver large amounts of cash to some pretty seedy locations. Those times I carried open as a deterrent. And I know it worked because I...

    Spare Parts

I’ve found these guys to have quality parts at a decent price. Lots of their stuff is out of stock (like everyone else), but they have a decent amount of in stock items. https://www.masdefense.com/
