    Restraining Device

Read your own article—the guy doing the “arresting” may be up for criminal charges. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

    Restraining Device

The thing is…in what vaguely realistic situation are you going to restrain? It’s just not there. You’re not a cop, and “citizens arrest” is a pretty iffy proposition…

    Burnt ends

“Carried slowly through the kitchen by a slow-gaited waiter” is how I put it one time…

    Burnt ends

I had a girlfriend that would think the top one was a little overdone… I joked that I’d just wave it over the grill for a minute or two so I didn’t overcook it…

    Restraining Device

You keep moving the goalposts here… Fact is, it makes precisely zero sense for anyone outside LE to have handcuffs as part of their EDC, and several reasons why it’s a very, very bad idea (you do NOT want to get painted as a wannabe cop in the event of a use of force event).

    Restraining Device

As far as having cuffs as carry in the exceedingly rare even t of having to aid an officer… I do not need, nor want a chandelier o’ gear around my waist.

    Restraining Device

Nope; at most, I prone them. If they want to leave…they can leave. If they want to continue to be…belligerent…escalate as necessary. But cuffing someone? It’s an easy way to get a charge of illegal confinement. After those good ol’ boys in Georgia chased that guy down & murdered him...

    Burnt ends

I’ve never soaked my chips in my electric…but I do agree, there’s a lot higher humidity in it than, say my dad’s pit boss pellet grill.

    Restraining Device

Same with first aid kits, and I always have a blowout kit when I got the range. But cuffs? Nope. I’m not a wannabe cop.

    Restraining Device

Good grief, no. And unless you’re in law enforcement, it’s a damn bad idea to use them.

Review: Heckler & Koch USP — Universal Self-Loading Pistol

The upgraded USP’s—Elite, Expert, Match, and Tactical—all come with Match triggers. They’re almost always V1–DA/SA with safety & decocker on the left (right-handed shooter setup). The Match trigger is pretty nice; a little lighter DA, a little lighter & crisper SA, and adjustable for over...

Review: Heckler & Koch USP — Universal Self-Loading Pistol

Not mine…but I do really, really want one. I believe the 9mm’s come with the “Jet Funnel” magwell and 18rd mags; the .45’s would have 10 or 12’s (no jet funnel option for the .45).

Those are neat little .22’s. Have fun with it!

Review: Heckler & Koch USP — Universal Self-Loading Pistol

    You’d love a .45 Tactical or Expert…or even a 6” Elite.

Review: Heckler & Koch USP — Universal Self-Loading Pistol

I’ve got…. 13 USP’s. Only caliber I don’t have is a .357 (had a USPC .357 barrel for a while that I ran in my .40, but I let it go. True .357’s are unicorns now, and command ridiculous premiums…which means I’ll end up getting one eventually. I need a couple others to round out the...

big gun coming soon to mom/pop store.....

I dumped my last Yugo 59/66 that I bought 10 of back in 2003 for $139…let it go during the early pandemic for $500.

big gun coming soon to mom/pop store.....

Sigh. I’m going to be selling my .500 soon…last time I shot it, I hurt for days. Just not worth it.

Review: Heckler & Koch USP — Universal Self-Loading Pistol

If I had to choose just one pistol going into a fight…it’d be a USP. Preferably an Expert or Tactical.

Review: Springfield Armory Desert FDE XD-M Elite 4.5" OSP 10mm

Permanent channel is measured by depth and expansion. So, yeah…penetration is pretty key to that. But please, believe in your jumping jello. The agencies you cite don’t care about how much it moves—they only care about expansion & penetration. Oh—check out the works of Roberts (DocGKR) for...
