    Disposing of old brass

I have a ton of 9mm and 5.56 brass laying around with no use for it. Do any of you know places that buy the stuff, aside from Gunbroker?

    Should this Officer be Fired?

Yes, they have a duty to protect. But there must be some present indication of intent to cause harm. Running away, even with a gun, is not that. That's the opposite. If they'd shot him while he was shooting at them or if he gave some indication he was going to shoot again then I support...

    Should this Officer be Fired?

Shooting in the back, based on the scenario presented here, deserves more than a firing. Cops aren't executioners.

    Should this Officer be Fired?

What intent? Do you believe his "intent" remained the same when he took off running? That's nonsense. The law is intent can be formed instantaneously. If he changed his "intent" by running away then the response from LEOS has to change, too. I'm glad you aren't a LEO because you'd make the...

    Should this Officer be Fired?

Based on the facts provided, he should be in jail. Cops can't, or shouldn't be allowed to, kill unless they are in present danger of death or severe injury. I don't care if the kid has a gun. If he's fleeing, find him later. Shoot a fleeing suspect in the back? Enjoy gen pop, cop. Same as...

Why no full size XDM 10mm

There used to be a XDm 10 in a 5.25 inch barrel. I love mine. Try to find one used.

    Reloads ammo

I would recommend you take them to the police department personally instead of leaving then for someone at the range. Then you can be sure where they went. Much better to be safe than sorry hanging ammunition off to someone.

    Reloads ammo

I wouldn't trust anyone else's handloads. I've caught myself almost throwing a double charge on occasion only because I do a lot of double checking. Or finding a .38 special case that made it through my first round of sorting only to be caught because I always check the headstamp before I...

Sig Sauer Sues Attorney for Defamation

Here is the civil complaint against Sig that, if the allegations are true, will answer your questions. https://www.smbb.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Complaint-Only-Filed-02-17-21.pdf

Sig Sauer Sues Attorney for Defamation

There won't be any COVID vaccine lawsuits unless Pfizer or Moderna committed some willful act that caused damage. It's prohibited by statute. As to the McDonalds suit, that's widely misunderstood. It wasn't about the woman who got burned. McDonalds had had complaints about their coffee being...

Sig Sauer Sues Attorney for Defamation

If they made a defective product, and all the complaints suggest to me they have, then 2A has nothing to do with the suit. It's about them making a dangerous product. When it's a firearm manufacturer I have not patience for defective products. They're too dangerous.

A Case For The Defensive Big-Bore Revolver

Dude. August 29, 1997 was Judgment Day. 14.5 years too late.

A Case For The Defensive Big-Bore Revolver

You and I often agree, but we diverge on this one. I can't think of a load out of a .500 S&W that won't blow through a person and a few walls behind them. Or a car. Or a lot of other things. Yes, Rule 4 always applies, but there are some rounds that are just far more dangerous than others in...

Maintaining Guns that are Rarely Fired

I clean and lube mine within 24 hours of use and they stay that way until they get used again.

    Ukraine… Will Russia Invade ?

I think you're confusing issues. 1) Of course Zelensky would back the current U.S. president (trump). He needed our protection. We have transcripts from the trump call that tell us all we need to know. 2) Regardless of what Biden did or said, if there is an unfortunately widely watched...

    Thinking of a longarm

I'm really partial to a super precise bolt-action myself, but a Scout or a SOCOM M1A is also a great way to go. Alternatively, I have a Remlin 1895 guide gun. I have no complaints. A shorty .45-70 is an absolute monster and there are not problems with hitting my mark at any reasonable range...

    Cursing and other mortal sins

Sometimes it's not about being cute or clever. It's because something deserves some stronger language. But point taken.

    Ukraine… Will Russia Invade ?

Knowing your background in Russian history, I'm curious what your take is on Putin's recent speech justifying entering the separatist regions of Ukraine and, apparently, Ukraine itself. He had a good bit to say about Russian and Ukrainian history.

    Ukraine… Will Russia Invade ?

Well, now we know. Hopefully people like Tucker Carlson will stop sticking up for Putin now.

    Pikes Peak Hill Climb

That race is AWESOME! A couple buddies and I went out there two or three years ago. It's amazing how fast they go up the mountain. There was one fatality just before the finish line. Tragic, and a reminder how dangerous that race is.
