I've been carrying a 1911 with a seven shot mag and one spare mag for a few months and have felt pretty protected. But, I guess more ammo is always better!
Really good read... I've been wanting to pick up a new rig for my 1911 I bought, and I think this might be worth a close look. Anybody else have any experience with them?

I actually counted the shots from one of his pistols in John Wick 2 and darned if they did not keep the round counts right from reload to reload! That was shots from multiple cameras, edited together. I can't believe they kept up with it!

You all have any favorite "gun" movies, and a particular scene? For me, it's "Way of the Gun". From the hallway scene to the final shootout at the end, the gun handling in this movie is amazing!
