As an infantry officer all I carried was a sidearm. I felt better with the 1911 since it fit my hand better...the double stack on the beretta was always awkward in my hands...that and I struggled to shoot Expert with Beretta but never a problem with the 1911

Okay...I’ll give it a try...it’s interesting that I can go 20-30 rounds and no issue but then unexpectedly get a failure to extract. I have tried manually racking a few magazines of dummy rounds with no problem. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion, worth a shot...

I’m starting to think that. Will give it a thorough cleaning and if that doesn’t work I‘ll contact CS about replacing the extractor.

Don’t think so since it’s not a feeding issue but an extractor issue. Failure to extract has caused a few stovepipes.

I’ve had good success with Berry‘s plated bullets for my .380acp firearms. Easy to reload and no feeding issues.
