Numbers 1, 2, 8 and 13 are not
“gun companies”
they are sporting goods retailers.
 
Doesn’t matter who financed the article there are 4 companies listed that don’t manufacture firearms.
It's not who financed, it is the fact that they have little to no knowledge of firearms and what constitutes a firearms manufacturer. Yahoo finance, or Yahoo in general is the last place I would go to for information on anything. They are lumping manufacturers in with distributors out of that ignorance.
 
Ammo, Inc.....are they not an ammo manufacturer? I've seen their ammo in boxes labeled "Ammo, Inc" in several shops of late. Could be a marketing company or effort with private labeling as well, I understand. Or maybe it's a completely different company...

Nevermind, just looked up online. They are an ammo manufacturer that recently bought Gunbroker, thus blurring the lines between retailer and manufacturer....although they ARE a manufacturer (of ammo). They call it "vertical integration".

They don't build guns though (at least they don't tell us they do on their website).
