Shoot them, I would say yes, if chambered one at a time. Function with them through the magazine might be another issue you might have to test.
 
Yes, but not in/through by the magazine. Feed by hand. Take great care in difficultly inserting shell directly into the chamber, as to not drop into front of the installed empty magazine. Short and Long Cartridges both, with this .22 Long Rifle rifle. Even Colibri I've shot so far.
