Ammunition Life in Florida

Hello Fellow 2A'ers: I am a year new into concealed carry in Florida. My question is concerning ammo kept in my gun lock box in my car. As everyone knows, Florida summers, with the heat & humidity 7 out of 12 months a year, is there a time limit as to how long ammo (9mm) can be kept in that condition? Does ammo have a life expectancy under those conditions? Should I recycle it out of that car lockbox every 6 months, year? Any help would be appreciated!

I don't store ammo long term in my vehicle. Extreme heat (150°) and humidity are not good for ammo and other precious things. ;) Here's an article with some tips...

Thank you for your indulgence,

I keep ammo in my truck 100% of the time.
Hidden in a storage compartment in a waterproof box.
Why buy ammo at LGS/ Range prices, and I shoot at odd times of the day when work allows and on diff days.
So I keep ammo on hand. Just snag the backback/ gun on way out the door, without all that heavy ammo in it.

My ammo in the truck also gets cycled every couple weeks at most, so no issue on storage.

Proper storage box is the key. No moisture and such.
The militaries ammo sits in vehicles and on a persons body for a long time. It will be ok in a car for a few weeks

Edit: if anyone finds my 6 boxes of 9mm and 3 boxes of 5.56 stored hidden, them finding my ammo is the last of my concerns. They have done more damage to my truck than the ammo is worth.
Nothing valuable is visible in my truck. Storage compartment isnt readily accessible either
