Best .308 Saint ammo

Both good choices and as stated definitely gonna be up to your rifle. My father in law and I have several identical rifles and while mine will shoot under an inch with a load it won’t in his. He is an excellent shot as well. It’s what your rifle likes. Shoot different loads and narrow it down. Lots of good options out there.

Hornady Black is fast becoming my go to for all my guns however what mentioned above is spot on, every gun is different, some like and shoot some manufacturers better then others.

Federal M118 175 grain gets chewwed up like candy and has been flawless on range and hogs. Probably 400 + rounds thru the Saint .308

Well, not a Saint, but my 16”, 1:10 PSA AR10 really likes bullets weighing 150-168 gr. I’ve done both 150 and 168gr SMK’s, and they both broke 2” at 200yds, using the BUIS (pre-optics). 175gr SMK’s opened up to about 2.5”...not bad, but not as good.

Cureently, though...it’s loaded with 110gr varmint loads. They aren’t bad, accuracy-wise, usually stay about 3” at 200...but are gonna be pretty wicked at close range.
