Cartridge Pressure: Are You Pushing the Limits Too Far?

Developers with better measuring equipment have pushed the cartridges we use to their limits. Trust their reloading data. The cartridge will get the job done within its normal limits.

More kaboom is simply not necessary.

Sorta related: I've seen posts where someone will say he bought his 12 year old daughter a 243 Win and she bagged a big buck with it. It makes me wonder why her dad is still toting a 30-06 into the field.

I have several 6.5CM barrels and with factory ammo it pops primers. The only barrel brand with no issues is Aero Precision with standard rifle length gas system. Proof, Faxon, Criterion and 1 other brand with +2 and/or standard rifle length systems all do the same thing (pop primers) even with adjustable gas blocks. Still working out the kinks.
