Hey guys n gals,
Here’s a source for grips that seems to me to be a good one…
I’ve bought 3-4 sets of walnut 1911 grips from Lance, and he kindly sent them entirely unfinished - just the bare wood. Took minimal sanding to add to my RIAs (I love the ones where I just treated with a coat or two of plain ol Tung oil ! ).
Anyway… there’s a plethora ( that means ‘a lot’, Tex4Life) of grip makers of course… just thought I’d offer this one up for anybody looking.

I’d forgotten how classy a basic Tung oil can look…

Thank you sir! Yeah I think I lucked out with that pair; the pic doesn’t do them justice. (Bad lighting)
personally I like that no gloss look. Adds something to a budget gun.
