Davide Pedersoli 86/71 DROPTINE Lever Action Rifle

Davide Pedersoli have expanded their line of 86/71 lever action rifles with the addition of the new 86/71 Droptine. Like some of the 86/71 Boarbuster models, the Droptine combines the classic Winchester 1886 pattern action with modern features.

With the strength of the "86" action this would be great with the old .307 Winchester and/or the .308 Marlin Express. However, those two cartridges didn't quite take off in the past.

But, that being said the advanced Hornady 30/30 FTX LeverEvolution ammo would work well in this.

Darn good look'n rifles they make! 45-70's work for me, but bummed out about the top ejection. At least having the forward mounted pic rail will help for long eye relief optics.
