Im considering purchasing the XD-M® ELITE 4.5″ OSP™ THREADED 9MM HANDGUN – DESERT FDE,
Springfield customer service could not recommend a holster,
Any ideas ??
Will a holster for another gun with the same slide and frame work ??

Most do yes from what I’m gathering. I have 3 different holsters for my XDM and each fit my Elite model as well.

This is good news. I have two holsters I really like for my old XDMs and was hoping the elites would fit.

Springfield customer Service is not helpful when you look for recommendation, must be a lawyer thing.
I would like to get a weapon light for my MOD_2 compact that's brighter than a bic lighter, no luck they said contact the manufacturers.

I was hopping someone who has an Elite bought a holster so I have a for sure holster to buy.
Im very disappointed in Springfield customer service not being able to give me an answer.

What I like about my XDMs in the 40 and 10 are both fit in the same holder(not at the same time of coarse). My glock 20, 21 and 40 have a wide slide and the 41 is like the small frame(19, 22 and 31).

I use a Sig Tac OWB retention holster for my XDM but I'm not sure if the suppressor sights on your gun will fit inside this particular holster.

And NO I'm not looking down the barrel.

That's my concern, those tall suppressor sights.
So far striking out on a holster.

I have the XDM Elite Tactical and am very pleased with the holster I got from JM4 Tactical. It’s the hard molded holster but is leather lined with a leather backing as well. Very well made.
