Lipsey’s Exclusive John Taffin Ruger Flattop Perfect Packing Pistol

I have mixed opinion on the Bisley grip frame .

Above a certain threshold , it is indeed more comfortable with Really Heavy Loads .

But the regular Blackhawk grip is more naturally pointing for me .

My latest Ruger acquisition l have high hopes for , a SBH Hunter . Unique to the Hunter , is SBH grip panels , but with conventional trigger guard , not the square back aka Knuckle Torture implement.

Jumped on the 5.5” SS PPP when my LGS got one. Always been partial to 45 caliber revolvers both Colt and ACP. I own several of John Taffin books and have enjoyed his writing over the years.

Here it is.

The only single actions that I have is a very limited production 10mm/38-40 convertible Ruger Blackhawk, and a Ruger Old Army, and Colt BP revolvers.
