4th Civil Affairs- history- the unit goes back to the late 1920s; Chesty Puller. In Vietnam we were CAP Marines living in the villages. In the sand box they became civil affairs groups. The only one I know of now is 1st( maybe its 2nd?) civil affairs group). We had over 500 KIA CAP Marines in Nam
