I put the green mountain grill to rest after it came down with covid . That's all I could figure out why it kept having internal issues. Pit Boss Pro Series has been now put to use with great precision. I couldn't get myself to buy something that had a neighboring state name on it. The only downside is temp control with 25° change instead of 5°. The food critics have 0 complaints and are glad to get their "grill on" . It uses less pellets and is temp stable.

I haven't tried any other wood, but a 1/3 hickory and 2/3 mesquite has made chicken, fish and beef flavorful and juicy. I'll try pork on the grill 1 day.

I went to the store the other day and was going to buy a T-bone steak to cook on the grill Saturday night. However, I realized I needed my "steak" money more for gas just to get there and back. I afraid the next bridge to cross will be weather to buy 4 gallons of gas or a box of 9mm.
