This was pretty fun to shoot. I have used the Glock on in the past and basically this one works the same. Except that you get a bag with extra slide blocks for each Pistol version. On the XD9 version it will work with the XD classic, XD mod.2, XDM and XDM Elites in 9mm/357/40 calibers. The barrel shroud is adjustable for 3.8, 4, 4.5 and 5 inch barrel lengths of the different pistol versions. Sadly no 5.25......boooo. MCK also offers the MCK for the 45 and 10mm XD pistols. Mine was the upgraded kit that came with a flashlight, sling, sights, thumb rest. The top picatinny rail is aluminum and is a rock solid mount for the back up sights and red dot. I was only able to get it set up to 25yrds, sometime this week I am going to work it out to 100. Once you are used to how to insert the pistol into the shell and remove it, you could do it in about 30 seconds or so.
