Took 40 min just to enter a customers info then another hr for the approval to cone through.

I'm feeling lucky after reading about the longer/delayed time factors.. As I mentioned in another thread, a week ago today, on the 13th, I bought my new pistol, and I was in and out of there in around 40 minutes.

What makes it worse for us, is that Alabama just lost the right to use our ccw permits in leu of nics check. Some dumbutt Sheriff gave some felons ccw permits.

I was at our LGS recently, and asked the guy behind the counter about skipping the bgc if I was a CCDW holder. He said nope, even though they have stores in KY, their home office is in IL, and they won't recognize any concealed carry permits.
