Parenting like this makes me weep for the future of this country.

I don't know why it bothered me so bad, but it does. I can understand a kid doing this and not understanding the gravity of what they are doing, but to have a parent stand there and not correct the behavior, and possibly even record it.... I'm at a loss for words.
Obviously mom thought what was on her phone was most important. And I hope there arent really twins in the twin stroller. The home owner should file theft charges against the mother. But in this day and time lots of luck. And I hope the home owner learns to display The Flag of The United States of America properly.

My mother or father would have beat my a$&! Then they would have marched me down the to be the new "lawn care" specialist for the family until I worked off my debt. My father would have also told the father of that family he had permission to knock the snot out of me if I got out of line doing the work.

After over 30 years in the classroom I can honestly tell you that many students' deviousness is only limited by his or her imagination.
Had plenty of whacks on the knuckles with the wood pointer, and had a few erasers clock me. Wisened me up and quick.
Certainly such a discipline is unacceptable today, even so far that school police are give a hands-off order by the faculty. I can’t imagine what goes on in classrooms today, but then again we have
to wonder what his imaginative kid (6’6”/+200lb) was thinking (besides his video game controller)….

Honestly that behavior and the “adult”
Doing nothing about it doesn’t surprise me in the least. This is what a majority of parents are allowing thinking that their little darlings are above reproach and can do whatever they want to do.
The problem becomes a social one when that child grows up and continues to behave that way thinking it’s ok and gets his/her a$$ beat or worse.

It must be the "do unto others before they do unto you" mentality! I do to you, but no way you'll ever do that to me as some go. Unfortunately, I know people like that and I point it out to them too often! BTW those double strollers make great shopping carts!
