Remington XP-100: The Successful Experiment

I'd like to see a "resurrected" Remington bring out the 1993 XP-100 Hunter version again, but with some changes. Originally, it was chambered for .223 Rem., 7mm BR, 7mm-08 Rem. and .35 Rem, and featured an ambidextrous laminated stock and 14.5-inch barrel.

For a "new" XP-100 Hunter dump the 7mm BR and .35 Remington, and add the 6mm and 6.5mm Creedmoors and .308 Remington.

I had one that was customized by SSK Industries for silhouette shooting back in the early 90’s. It was chambered in .338CJMK, basically it was a .35 Remington case necked down to .338 caliber. It shot a 200gr bullet out of the mag-na-ported 14” barrel around 3100fps, real cannon. Used it for the unlimited class. The CJMK stood for Crowley-Jones-Mastadon-Killer.

I didn't like them when they first came out and still don't like them today.

I guess it's a good thing you folks didn't ask me my opinion of those ugly things. 😂 😂 😂 😂
