Range session tonight had a little twist.
Carbine, transition to pistol.. ok usual stuff.
Then…… last target required prone with an M60
It jammed so much, my second run the switched me to an M240

4 targets carbine
2 targets 1911
1 target LMG
Shoot, run, shoot, transition, shoot, transition to lmg prone

Boy, you guys have great ranges, very jealous here, only indoor range near me doesn’t allow hardly any calibers, has to be all fmc, no magnums, no rifles. Just 5 bays, actually it sucks. I would have to travel over 2 hours to a decent indoor range.

Regular maintaince will prevent most problems. Replacing worn parts is getting to be the issue because new parts are hard to come by.

I had an intimate relationship with the M60 53 years ago. Maintenance and care of ammo belts were important. My ears are still ringing.
