Interesting video/article from Chris Baker of Lucky Gunner on Short Barreled Rifles and Braced pistols, and the ATF's current ruling (or lack thereof) on the Brace Pistols. Like Chris states, he's not a lawyer, so I'd take his statements as "his take" of the ATF's current rules. Like he says, the ATF can change their current rules quickly, as was seen with the recent back and forth on Bump Stocks. During my searches on the subject, I have seen/found ATF letters seeming to indicate that putting a pistol brace to shoulder or cheek was acceptable and that hand-guard Angle grips (NOT vertical or adjustable verticle grips), were also acceptable. I too am NOT a lawyer, so don't take anything I've written as gospel, especially when it comes to the ATF and their rulings. Just take this as another point of view and additional information on the subject at hand.
