Surefire WarComp and Saint Edge Rifle

Hello,

Does anyone have any experience they can share with using the SureFire WarComp as a replacement for the Saint Edge muzzle brake?

I've heard the Saint Edge is very loud out of the box and that a good option is to replace the muzzle brake with the Surefire WarComp.

It's a non-issue.

If you want to do it, do it.

I will add—I have their SOCOM's on a couple rifles, they kick donkey...Surefire does NOT make crap.

How do you figure out your thread pitch?
Is it in the owners manual? I’ve read that multiple times and never saw it.
I’d like to try one on my 5.56 Edge Pistol first and then maybe my .308 AR10

Nearly all .223/556 AR's are 1/2x28...if SA went 1/2x36, they’d be serious oddballs, basically meant to F with their customers.

Thanks everyone for their feedback. I did some research on the thread pitch required and I did some searching and HansGruber is correct. If you look at the thread pitch specification for the Springfield Muzzle Break on the Midwest Gunworks website, https://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/prod/ar0300f, you will see:

• Barrel Thread Pitch: 1/2 x 28 TPI
