Trigger Discipline

I learned to shoot (.22LR) as a 9 year old, at summer camp. To this day, ANYthing with a trigger gets a straight finger pointed down the "barrel" - firearm, impact wrench, cordless drill, you name it.

Of course we had it drilled into us the hard way at camp - if you put your finger on the trigger when you were not in the firing position, you got slapped by the counselor. Hard. Across the face. It usually only took once. And yes, he knew it was safe to do so - we had spotters on every position who handed us rounds one at a time, only on the firing line, and only when we were in firing position.
