My wife has a collection of original photos from WW2 that she inherited from her grandfather. He was stationed on the USS Quincy CA-71. My understanding is there were 3 ships that carried the Quincy name with the 2nd CA-39 being sunk in 1942 and 3rd CA-71 being launched in 1943.

Her grandfather was at the Yalta conference and took some really cool photos of some really important people I'm sure you will recognize.

This is just a small sample of the stack of historically valuable photos she allowed me to share.

There is a more popular color photo of this event you can find online. You will notice a lot of differences when comparing the photos such as posture and hand placement of the attendees.
