I stumbled across this review today from Colion Noir on the Springfield Hellion and I thought I'd share.

My Hellion rifle is fast becoming one of my favorite rifles to shoot.

I haven't taken the factory muzzle device off mine yet but I do plan on throwing a Rugged QD muzzle device on at some point. I would be ecstatic if SA offered a .300blk conversion kit for the Hellion some day.

I don’t think the barrel is user-swappable, is it?

It didn't work for me and will stick with the best bullpup rifle.

I'm not completely sure myself. I'm mostly being hopeful.

I left a comment on the review. I have seen a lot of reviews on the Hellion, but there is one thing I have not seen anyone mention. the brass deflector getting chewed up. Mine looks like I gave it to my dog after just a couple hundred rounds.

I’ll just say this…….
Although I’m happy with how this is working out for Springfield and how the platform is popular my OPINION is the gun is just flat out ugly……
That’s just me.

Capacity aside, I'd take the Hi Point 995 over the Hellion.
I can't get past the way the top rail looks on the Hellion. And the hi Point can be had for less than $300, leavin gmoney for accessories or ammo

And if you want to get fancy, you can do this. And you can get them in Flat Dark Earth, OD Green, Desert Tand and Artic Grey, too. The Bullpup stock runs $250. So, for about 1/4 the price of the Hellion, you can have this.
