I tried shaving in the morning and my face burned all day. Then I tried at night and my girl complained about the stubble. So one day when I was 18 I just stopped shaving and have not done it since.

I even told the EDS interviewer just put of collage not to call me back because at my next interview he wanted me clean shaven. They were one of the premier data processing companies in the world at that time, and very ultra conservative,

Shaved head and face for 20 some years. A few years ago decided to grow a mustache again. One of the girls at work saw me and said I didn't know you were blond. "That's gray dear". :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: Eventually I remembered why I got rid of the damn thing to begin with. Too much effort to keep it withing acceptable standards of uniform regs. Truth be told I just don't feel clean with hair and whiskers anymore.

I collect razors. Just appreciate their workmanship (pre-70s) and cheaper than firearms. Best for me are Gem single edge razors. But not with Ace Hardware blades. You can get the lab quality ones online. Industrial blades ARE like shaving with a sharp rock.

I collect them too. I have a couple gems. Lather saver I think one is called. I also have at least 25 vintage Gillettes. The newest being a 4th quarter 1968 Slim adjustable and a 4th quarter 1968 Black Handled Supper Speed. My favorites are a 1931 New Model and a 40s NDC ( No Date Code) Super Speed. I recently got a circa 1917 Gillette "Old", which is the original model invented by King Gillette in I think 1905. Mine was part of a batch that was sent to GIs in WWI.
