What are you doing right now??

We got hammered. Tornado came through the back of the neighborhood. The gal on the corner across from my daughter no longer has a roof. The guy adjacent to her no longer has a back wall. 4 poles snapped so no one has power or will for the foreseeable future. Two giant trees across the road so my house is as far as you go.

So good to hear that you’re okay. Woke up and saw weather channel saying something about a massive tornado that had gone through your area. Glad you guys are safe.

Hi,

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your neighbors, hoping that things return to some kind of normalcy soon. Here it was 70° and sunny yesterday. Today, cooler with a wind advisory, expecting mid-20s and snow overnight. Springtime in Wisconsin. I think I'll go to the range for a little bit today. ;)

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

i just woke up for the second time today..

i got up my usual time of 4:30, had breakfast, then took 2 Mucinex and went back to bed.

i have my usual sinus infection (i thought it was a cold coming on) which i am fighting off, taking Mucinex and Vicks cold/flu as well.

i missed so much going back to bed.... my trip to get the newspaper and to the club, and my morning nap.

i hate missing naps

Utterly agree on the margarita. I don’t drink them often, but when I do, that’s the way. On the rocks, salted glass.

I woke up after a nap, since I need to go to work tonight, and found that the nature of the weather had been greatly overstated…we got less than an inch out of 6-8 predicted, and the blizzard warning got cancelled.

I’m not complaining…well, maybe a little, as a full-blown blizzard would have likely meant I didn’t go to work, so…

Anyway. A nice cup of Kona coffee to remind me of mornings on the lanai, and evenings on the beach.
