Gotta be an older special run, the hammer has the firing pin on it, plus it’s a forged one as is the trigger, current S&W’s don’t, it is very nice!

Comsidering it says S&W on the frameLooks to be your basic commemorative Smith & Wesson.
It’s one of them there Collaborations projects. It says Springfield on it so it’s all Good in the NeighborhoodComsidering it says S&W on the frame![]()
Well it’s made in Springfield. It’s a S&W that identifies as a Springfield Armory.![]()
It uses a “Moon Clip” device so cartridges specifically designed for pistols can be used in revolvers. Not all revolvers have this capabilityI know next to nothing about revolvers. I didn’t know .45 ACP in a revolver was a thing.
I didn't either. I have ever only fired one when I took a course, and I don't even remember what caliber or the make (total noob way back when), but it was big and I liked it. Wow, I'm feeling a tug over to the dark side...I know next to nothing about revolvers. I didn’t know .45 ACP in a revolver was a thing.
I’ve seen a Moon Clip device that makes loading and unloading easy.View attachment 81297
When I still had this 625JM, it used moon clips, which can be a pain loading and unloading, but the gun shot fine, I just didn’t like the sharp grooves on the trigger face
Yea, I still have it, mines called a DeMooner…..go figure…..I’ve seen a Moon Clip device that makes loading and unloading easy.
it’s one of those bygone rounds.Well, they did actually make .45 acp rimmed cartridges.
Maybe they still do.
DeMooner….So many possibilities for a one liner……Yea, I still have it, mines called a DeMooner…..go figure…..
