We had these issues to us. Great for opening a MRE. Tips seemed too weak. A Tanto style blade would work betterHello all, here is today's article posted on TheArmoryLife.com. It is titled “SWAT-Ready? Benchmade SOCP Review” and can be found at https://www.thearmorylife.com/benchmade-socp-review/.

It’s a “Hollywood CQB” stanceA nice light dagger. Holding it open like that while gripping the pistol with the same hand? An invitation to accidents, what about the other hand coming up to support the firearm, what about changing position and kneeling or crouching? One would stab themself. Not a real CQB stance at all.
A beefy fixed blade like the Benchmade Anonimous would work even better. We had these issues to us. Great for opening a MRE. Tips seemed too weak. A Tanto style blade would work better
I like this one. It actually had a National Stock Number so we could get them through our supply room. Sadly they’re discontinued nowA beefy fixed blade like the Benchmade Anonimous would work even better.

The tip profile on Hinderer Knives “Spanto” blades is Awesome!Nice knife but Never warmed up to the American Tanto point on a blade personally.
That was the Benchmade Nimravus.Nice. What was the model/name ?
This was meant as an extreme emergency measure—if you could get back to your primary weapon, you wouldn’t have to just drop the knife. I agree it has some complications…A nice light dagger. lots of recent laws passed to that effect, hence, lawyers. boo.I find it very interesting that you must be 21 to look or read about a knife here, yet any 13yo could walk into any sporting goods store and buy one.![]()
