What are you doing right now??

More bad luck for my very sweet wife today. We were working in our garden she tripped fell against our storage shed hitting her left lower leg. Took her to an urgent care clinic X-rays showed a break in her tibia just above her ankle. She had considerable swelling they applied ice packs for over an hour then put a boot brace on it. Tomorrow will make an appointment with an orthopedic specialist. Add insult to injury will have to re-schedule her chemo session from tomorrow to a later date. Linda is tough little gal never whimpered or complained. I'll be the chief cook & bottle washer for at least the next 6-8 weeks. I lover her so much, breaks my heart to see her going through this crap.
Oh no. I'll be thinking about you guys and hoping for a speedy recovery for the Mrs.

Thanks Bella, Cliff hope and pray our luck changes for the better.

Hi,

I'm watching a Netflix movie called "Don't Look Up". It's an entertaining dark comedy that politizes an extinction level event. The sarcasm and parody is not too subtle but it is certainly ridiculous. This movie is my kind of zany, but not exactly a feel-good movie. Still, if you've got thicker skin, I recommend it for adult audiences.

i'm behind by 2 days (3 now since it's after midnight) on posting my daughter graduated hs and had a short day as she had to get up at 5am to get ready for state quartette band in/near austin. this makes 3 years in a row she has made it to state. once as a duet, once as a trio and now this time. she wasn't in band her freshman year. now on to college orientation on 6/10/25 in south texas (500 miles away). she asked her brother who went to school there if the football team was any good? the 5 years he was there the team wasn't very good. she's not there for a music degree, but wants to be in the marching band. by her sophomore year she could get as much as $15k/year in scholarship money. freshman can get some, but not near as much as 2nd year and up.

for graduation she wanted brisket like her brother had last year, so dear old dad cooked 20# worth.

4 down and 2 to go...........question is, can i last 3 more years of putting up with the local isd! possibly, but it ain't going too be easy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

Well, how in the world is everyone? I hope and pray weather, health, finances, family, etc, don't give you too much to worry about. Enjoy your blessings, joy comes in the morning.

I'm not going to the range today. Instead it's chores, vacuuming, laundry, I might even clean a couple of handguns. I also have to remember to water Mrs. BassCliff's gardening projects. I'm so domesticated.

I have a tentative range day planned tomorrow and a gig on Friday afternoon. No plans for Thursday yet. I'm free if anyone has any ideas. ;)

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff
