Of all the 22’s i have, i don’t have a Ruger 10/22. I knew i wanted something vintage and the one with a walnut finger groove stock had caught my eye about a year ago. They are semi-rare for a 10/22 and i have seen them go for $650 and up. I saw one on Gunbroker from 1969 with some bids so i put in a low bid thinking i’d get outbid pretty fast… i did not and won the auction. 
Needed a firing pin rebound spring and the trigger group was a mystery so i popped in a spare BX trigger. I topped it off with a vintage 4x Bushnell 22 scope from the early 70’s. She shoots great. The target pic is a 5 round group at 40 yards off a bag with CCI standard velocity ammo. I finally have a proper Ruger 10/22.
