What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Wen into town for business & went to the annual BIG gun show. Wasn't really looking for anything just to see what was there for fun. There was a good turn-out & decent selection although the show isn't as good as the good-old days.

Saw some friends & stopped at a table a local gent had with his design of the roll-up game sled. It was much better than what I had come up with so I got one. Lighter weight & more useable than mine since it was purpose-built, so that's an upgrade my hunting pack kit.

Got a gun show discount, and he has it sold by Scheels & Kenetrek.

Here's some of his pics of his game sled in use.

Got home before the next round of T-storms rolled in over the nearby mountain range, and an ammo order was on the door step so it was a good day. (y)

Hi,

Oh my! You guys have been busy! I just booked an advanced defensive pistol class, ordered 1000 Remington 9mm 124gr from SGAmmo, and 1000 .45ACP 200gr from LAXAmmo (10% off with code 'TARGET10' - paid for the shipping). That's all I can do until I save up more gig money. I can't even afford a Hi-Point now. :ROFLMAO:

Do they make one about 6'4" long? Asking for a friend.....

Finally stopped fighting the urge and bought a Tisas PX-9 Duty Comp. Under $400, under $450 post shipping and FFL. Takes SIG P226 mags. 3.5# trigger out of the box. Built in gas pedal/thumb rest. RMR optics pattern. Three mags included. Should be here Friday. TISAS's PX line of pistols have been pretty good, and customer service/parts from their US arm (TN based) has been great. This might be the gun I shoot IDPA with if I get back into that. Supposedly fits XD-series holsters pretty well (still researching that).

Turkey …

As bad or worse than China.
They should be kicked out of Nato.
Muslim anti west to the core
F them…

Makes me want to shed my MKE and spend the coin on HK

You do you, pops. NATO ally, and I don't judge people's religion, otherwise I'd never tolerate all the Methodists around here. :)

Also really good manufacturing - they're quickly becoming the manufacturing center for the EU as well as northern African nations, so as the US pulls back from global policing and regional players have to step up for production, they'll fill the void there while we play catch-up with our manufacturing base here stateside.

TISAS, in particular, makes great guns... but feel free to enjoy your Croatian pistols instead. I don't gatekeep when it comes to the 2nd.

Well, this came;

300 B.O. I thought the charging handle wasn't going in at all, then a bit of magic and it fell past whatever was sticking, then it was the bolt's turn to hang up.......finally got both in.

Then mounted this which I got yesterday,

It went on easily!

I guess I need to get the flash suppressor off and try putting that R9 can on. Already got a couple boxes of sub-sonic 300 B.O. to try out this weekend.

Remember about a week ago i said i ordered something cheap and something expensive? well most of it came today. First is the Bear creek AR15 in 7.62x39. now i'm pretty impressed by this thing so far. if it shoots good as it looks it'll be a dandy, zero slop between halves. looks to be well made. we will see. it's made in the good ole USA. For a less than 500 dollar rifle it's nice, but will it work? we gonna find out.
