Sitting with the wife and Maggie watching tv. All showered up and in the sleeping chair. With all these channels and can't find anything entertaining. Starting to do the fall thing and putting away fans and summer stuff. Before I know it i'll be putting the stuff back out. Went to Lowes and all the Christmas stuff is out! I think it's a little early. Oh well another day in the books. Hope everyone has a great evening.

Hi guys!
Wow, you all have been busy. Seems it's been a couple of days since I stopped by. Today Mrs. BassCliff and I picked up the grandkids and went to church to help pack 100,000 meals for families in Ecuador.
Then we had lunch at Culver's. Once we got home, all the girls helped bake an apple cider cake. They spent the night and we'll all go to church in the morning. Grandpa had a good day. Blessings to all.

That is fantastic! Next year I must put up a fence to keep out the deer and other critters. They wreck havoc in the raised beds.

Finished my second cup while catching up here. Fifty degrees here this morning, means a good day to finish up some yard work, Supposed to reach 80, but with a breeze and no humidity. First off, breakfast and getting the venison into the crock pot. Then laundry and house chores. Typical Sunday stuff.

preparing for the life celebration for my dad this afternoon
a few folks showing up, i really don't have time for.
but his friends and moms friends will be a welcome.
not sure mentally if i can stay all four hours.
mrs boatr and i were talking this morning, last ten years have flown by
we took care of her mom, and was with her when she passed 4 years ago, we still think of her and miss her
now my dad...its hard.
i see good in it a little
my great grand child turns year old in a few weeks and he is such a looker, happy, active and makes us smile.
now with the boat, i plan to steal him often next summer and ensure he is spoiled completely
i get to practice what i preach and show resolve and endeavor to persevere......really easy to say... not so easy to put in force,
