I like the newer Jack Daniels Blackberry
Also like the Bird Dog Whiskey fruit flavors.
Then there's the fruit flavored moonshine
JD Blackberry is new and is not as sweet and Crown Royal BlackberryI like the Jack Daniels #7 and Jack Daniels Apple which I keep in the ice box and a frozen glass.
I have not seen Jack Daniels Blackberry of which I will look for next time I am in the store.
Hunter with a splasg of coke around a fire at deer camp when its freezing temp is what a dr orders. Sometimes simple worksOnly the best for this bunch…Canadian Hunter @nd Canadi@n Hunter Rye. Bottom shelf but, to me anyway, smooth stuff.
I too am a recent (2-3 years) bourbon drinker. It baffles me why so many bourbon-tubers denounce Blanton's as not worth the money...It's worth $100/bottle imo...you should try it, if only once. Also if you can find EH Taylor for around $60...it's worth it. My favorite every-day pour is Old Grand Dad Bottled-in-Bond. $25-ish...strong runner at that price. Maybe some can tell I like sweeter bourbons....not a fan of ryes...I just got into the bourbon craze about 2 years ago.
I have tried a few different ones.
Right now I have a bottle of Jefferson's and a bottle of Angels envy - they were birthday gifts.
Still trying to figure out what I like for sure.
I did discover and ice tea (black tea) and bourbon. I love the stuff. I just used already made tea - don't remember if it was Pure Leaf or Gold Peak with the Jefferson's
I haven't tied Blantons yet.I too am a recent (2-3 years) bourbon drinker. I too have grown weary of "mild" bourbons. I now gravitate toward Bottle-in-Bond (100proof) or higher. Just seems more flavorful to me, although some 95-ish-proofs I have found pretty tasty. Describing "sweet" for bourbons is kind of an oxymoron....it doesn't really mean sugary-sweet. Maybe Killerford can comment...what I am referring to is hard for me (a novice) to describe. He's a full-blown booze expert/professional.I haven't tied Blantons yet.
I like the Jefferson's, but, it's a little....mild.
I don't care much for sweet/flowery.
I do like the oak notes
That's about as much as I have figured out
