Each has it's pluses & minuses.
My fav is late spring-early summer mostly since everything is still green and fresh after the doldrums of winter & early spring.
The only problematic thing is the ticks are out until the summer heats turns on in July-August and knocks them down. But once the high country opens up they're really not up that high earlier than July.
Fall is nice for hunting, etc., but it's a reminder of the doldrums of winter aren't too far away.
Winter is fine when we have some good snow for snowshoeing & XC skiing, especially up in the hills (aka Mountains for you low-elevation flatlanders
).
Early spring starting in Mid-March to early May is wet except up at the Pass-level+ since winter's a long time going and...

Fall definitely we both do,don't mind being cold can always wrap up trees look lovely changing,like the snow aswell always try to make sure we have enough in the house,and checking on an older lady by our house cooking enough to make sure she has hot food as she doesn't get about too well and her family cant get to visit with the snow as they live about 90 minutes away.

Spring through summer, fall and beginning of winter. Fishing, river time , beach time, dove, quail, turkey, deer seasons. Once hunting season is over beginning of January it’s just cold and sucks till the cycle begins again.

i have hobbies that can be done during each season and i like the change in temps, light/dark and scenery. there is something to like and dislike with each season. on big perk about winter is there is no yard work aside from shoveling/snowblowing snow every now and again. i have 5" of new snow outside waiting for me now.

i hate shoveling snow, my 2 sons, and thier sons do come over to take care of it nearly every time...i only handle the dusting to maybe 2" of it...but, do you realize i am missing out on VALUABLE nap time..????????
also too, when it melts, the run off gets all over my yard, and i have to go out, before it freezes, as well as after it freezes, and throw down sand, or zip-zorb, or safe salt, which does 2 things..
1) makes a mess that gets tracked into the house
2) takes VALUABLE nap time for me to spread that stuff.....
so, to save me VALUABLE nap time, git on over here, and take care of it for me......
and bring your guitar too, play me some music to nap by.......

Spring before the bugs is a favorite. Fall after a hard frost, again skeeters. I’m actually pretty good with winter, easier to walk on the lake.
Summer? Not so much, indecent exposure charges still on the books, “you can’t wear a Speedo to the mall regardless of temperatures” skinny *** judges sitting in the AC all day.
