What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Hoping to finish up barrel install tonite but with my hand still healing after surgery been doing too much.
I checked the chamber last night it's too short so me and a friend are going to split the reamer cost instead of sending it back to Kart like I did the 38 super.
The hood still needs some polishing on the length it's too tight and sticks so I'll stone it and lap it with some jb polish compound I was already getting 0.038 lock up without even touching the barrel lugs so should be pretty easy to get the 43-45 i need.
I've never used Nowlin/Ryan barrels before so I'm hoping feeding will not be a issue ??

Bad news I finished the barrel hood and lock up last night only to discover Caspian cut the breech for a 38 super not a special now I'll have to have the sides of the hood welded up or get them to pay for a new barrel.
Iv'e had troubles with three of their slides in a row the first one a 6" long slide for my 10mm frame had to be sent back three times due to machining issues and they had to buy me a new barrel because I didn't want to have to weld up a brand new barrel.
I bought an new old stock unfit frame and slide commander off GB a few months ago and used a Nowlin drop in barrel for that build I had to fit the hood a little and change the link but it's a tack driver I have heard that the quality control has been poor since someone left the company a way's back.
I'm pretty disappointed that I can't finish that one but I have a match on Sunday I can't shoot but I'm gonna try and run that 38 super longslide function test I may even set up the ransom rest since it doesn't even have sights on it yet I'll send some target pics if I end up doing it.

Spoke with Caspian just a little bit ago he said to send it in they have to open it up to accommodate the 38 specials but it will not affect the hood dimensions luckily, he did mention that it was cool I was doing a 38 special not too many get done now a days.
 
Today was a good day........

I made a run to my nearest Academy, only wanting some 50 or 100 round rifle ammo storage boxes in thec30-06 size.........

I found three of them in the 50 round size, Plano's.

And since they had 9mm on sale, and I mean BIG TIME on sale, I picked up 500 rounds of Monarch brass case 124 grain 9mm NATO, for just over a C note.

And last, a dozen IPSC targets.

Academy had Win white box and browning in sale pretty close to Monarch
