What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Okay it's together. Now the real work begins. Making it work correctly. Finding the correct weight recoil spring, adjusting the mag converter. Polishing the feed ramp. The little stuff, that makes them work.

Ordered some @Belt Fed specials

Phase5 ambi bolt catch/releases in fde & odg as not to scare him  along with more from that company

Ambi safeties
Anbi chargehandles

And from Brownells

End plates w/castle nuts
FDE gas blocks, reec-e stock & ex performance stock
+3" gas tubes

That's all until Sunday or Monday while I check inventory. I might need more bcg's and optics or who knows what else!

I've been on the hunt for some specific powders that are difficult to obtain especially at a reasonable price! RL23 is supposed to be there bee's knees, but I haven't found any use for it that vv powders can't fill!

I picked this up yesterday. I'm partial to handguns that fire 45 acp or 45 Colt (so you young fellas can roll your eyes and snicker now). A guy I knew emailed me and asked if I was interested in this one. Appears to have never been fired (I fixed that) and came with 1 x 6 rd mag and 3 x 7 rd mags and a new IWB holster. I shot some Critical Defense ammo and Federal ball through it when I got home. I like it. It's not a 1911 but I have a few of them already.

I bought one of those when they first came out. Came with one 6 and one 7 round magazine. Took me about 1-2 days to get magazines loaded, springs were so tight (and I had no UPLULA). Had to load a round - forcibly - then wait a bit before next round. Never had an issue with the gun, just preferred .45 out of a 1911, so the Shield eventually moved on.

Pump AR, you pump it to load it and don't have to anymore. when i seen this online i though nah. this thing is smooth as silk sliding it back. gun is billet upper and lower and no wiggle anywhere. i just put an FRT in it. may try all of it tomorrow. Bilson arms.

This feels like the answer to a question nobody asked. Does the pump get hot when running the FRT?

Nah, it don't move while gun is shot. all it is a rod that runs in a channel to the BCG and when you pull it back it pushes the BCG back just like if you were pulling on a charging handle. the spring pushes the handle back up It's really smooth and pretty neat but a serious gun for when the crap hits the fan it is not.

The BCG is held in by a small block that has two small screws and tiny lockwashers. when you remove them the bcg will slide out. also to dissemble the charging handle it has the same screws holding it on but six are there. then you can take the hand and the rod out to clean and oil. it's not difficult to do but requires a hex wrench and careful attention not to lose the small screws and washers. so it's a range toy.
