What are you doing right now??

saw the foot doc today about why my healed foot is a MF PAIN every day with horrible cramps etc
he said "well son.... the xrays show the bones are healed"
my thumb that just made you wince like a little girl, is pressing on the ligaments that need to heal
i just love prior active duty doctors, they get us

so now new arch supports, more heat pad at night and check back in a month
i swear it hurts more now that last night when it tossed toe curling cramp my way

but i am cleared to sky dive in july :ROFLMAO:

kitchen pass might be a hard sell though:ROFLMAO:

It'll stop hurting when you're dead. lol

Made it back from the trip to the gun store 30 miles from me. I will be returning in a few days with checkbook in hand! They charge a 3% fee on any credit/debit card sales of firearms. Cash is king there, and they said checks are treated as cash, so no card fees. I'm starting small. I'm going to purchase a S&W .22 auto pistol with a threaded barrel and do the paperwork for a suppressor for it. They sell suppressors there and have a kiosk to do all the federal paperwork. I'll just have to wait on the ok from ATF on the paperwork I file. Then, down the road, it'll be more cans (for a 9 mm PDW and .45 PDW I'm eyeing) and SBR paperwork. My wife will have to come along though. She has to write out the checks for me, as my cursive writing skills have faded. You might as well let a toddler write something out for me, as at least their writing might be legible.

Well...we've been home from the road trip since Monday night. I have had an awful time adjusting back to the Central Time Zone. Been sleeping really late because I can't get to sleep until really late. I slept in until 10:30AM on Tuesday, which I haven't done in decades. Been getting better day by day...gotta get over it by the end of this weekend because it's back to work on Monday.

Anyway, I just came in from the garden. I spent about an hour digging out thistles. If there is a more obnoxious weed in existence in America, I don't know about it . I stayed out there until I started becoming fly food. Those buggers hurt when they bite.

So...while we were away, we had this done..

A pad for the new and improved fire pit

A patio for the outdoor kitchen (just kidding...an outdoor kitchen in Minnesota??). Actually we're still deciding what to do with it. Hammocks underneath the deck, grill and table and chairs.....

And the granddaddy finale...the ginormous driveway. We're talking about a carport for the big diesel, and there's plenty of room in behind for the trailer. And best of all...not as much to mow. 😎

I started doing driveway repairs with the tractor, then my new female flight student tenant texted to ask if she and some squadron mates could come shoot on my range. Of course, I said, training student military pilots with firearms is near the top of my favorite things. So i spent the afternoon on the range with four wonderful young patriots blasting away at paper. And they can shoot! It is so rewarding to spend range time with these bright young people! But the driveway......

Wow! I have concrete envy! Wish I could go away and have someone do some work around here!

If you are going to jump in July, you are crazy! That is something you probably need to stop doing. Or, keep having a foot issue.
