Well I think I’ve been kinda wanting another .40 S&W firearm besides the G23.5 I have. I was looking at a G22.3 and a G22.5 this weekend but Glock doesn’t do it for me anymore. I been kinda looking online for another manufacturer and see on GB has some different ones in the XD line up.

My question is-how snappy is it in the 4.5” XDm (.40 S&W)? I can thump all day with my 10MM and mag dump the 9mm (even though it looks like I was a good shot in Chicago).
 
I don't find the .40XDm particularly snappy. I don't ever recall trying to mag dump it, though. I would think that if you are good with your 10mm it wouldn't prove difficult to control.

Ours has prove accurate enough that I know if a shot goes astray it's not the pistol. I can't recall any function issues with ours.

I believe the XDm is a good value, especially the .40 version. Biggest challenge I have encountered is finding mags.
 
I have an old XD40, it's not too bad.

I’ll definitely look for magazines. Not the first time I looked for magazines like no tomorrow (thank you CZ)
