I learned recently that true Italian alfredo has no cream. Its an American thing to make it more liking to Americans… who knewfix'n to start cook'n chick'n alfredo . found a good alfredo sauce recipe a few years ago
2 sticks of butter (1/2 cup ttl)
1.5 cups of heavy whipping cream
4 cups of grated parmesian
1/2 teaspoon of chopped garlic
1 tbl spoon of Italian seasoning
1/2 tbl spoon of black pepper
2 tbl spoons of oregano
1/2 teaspoon on granulated garlic
